Erin Elliott Sherman

Attorney and Founder of Treehouse Legal

I was born in Minnesota and traveled all over the United States before settling in beautiful southern Maine. I am a lawyer by profession, but am also an adventurer, artist, avid gardener, spouse and mother.

I chose to be a lawyer as a way of serving my community. I love meeting families and am honored to help clients work through difficult or complicated decisions.

My mission is to educate and empower families to get their affairs in order so they can get back to the things they love doing with peace of mind. I want to be a trusted resource for my clients and to build a modern legal practice that is approachable, empathetic and centered around my community’s needs.

STATS:

• Graduated cum laude from University of Wisconsin-Madison (2006) and magna cum laude from University of Wisconsin Law School (2016)

• Have practiced law for 7 years- 2 years focused on equal employment law and 5 years focused on Estate Planning, Business Planning, and Real Estate.

• Opened Treehouse Legal in June 2022
